Event X began with one wedding, one borrowed soundboard and a promise: never an event that feels ordinary. Thirteen years and 850+ events later, we still keep that promise.
Our Story
From One Wedding to 850+ Events
In 2013, our founder Kefah Shokeer planned a friend's wedding as a favour. The venue double-booked, the florist vanished and the cake arrived late — and Alex spent the night quietly fixing all of it while the guests danced, unaware. That night became a career.
Today Event X is a full-service events management, event production and fit-out company based in Dubai: planners, designers, producers and technical directors who have delivered conferences on three continents, weddings on cliff edges, exhibition stands at DWTC and Expo City Dubai, launches that trended for days, mall podium activations across the UAE and galas that raised millions. But the founding instinct is the same — whatever happens, the guests never see the seams.
